What items did you purchase from Especially For You?

Wedding dress, veil, 3 bridesmaid dresses and inserts for wedding invites.

The service was faultless. All the staff were friendly and helpful and made you feel part of the family. They gave you honest advice – for example if a colour or style didn’t suit you they would tell you. They gave me advice and helpful tips with all aspects of planning my wedding which was really helpful. The fact that we could go for the dress fitting out of normal hours was extremely helpful as we managed to get a time that fitted around everyone so no one had to take time off work.

Out of all the other suppliers you used on your wedding day, who would you recommend and why?

I would recommend David Easton wedding photographers. He teaches photography at Manchester Uni  and has lots of experience. His prices are the cheapest I have ever seen for wedding photography. The photos were fantastic, I received prints of all the photos (there was 100+) and 4 discs of images copyright free! My guests commented on how good he was and how he managed to get such great, natural shots.

What part of the day are you most pleased with the outcome of?

All of it! You realise after that the little things you were getting stressed about didn’t really matter at all.

In hindsight what would you do differently (if anything)?

I would of stopped trying to please everyone and just do what myself and my husband want from the day.

Did you have a budget plan, and, if so, how did you keep within this, or if you didn’t keep to it, what costs did you overlook or underestimate?

Yes we did have a budget. 

We were slightly under our budget, I did under estimate how much the mens suit hire would be but made savings elsewhere to make up for this

Buy things each month like things for the favours to spread the cost. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
